Do androids dream of not picking up trash?
Charles Willcocks’ short film “Tergo” is a fresh take on the age-old theme of robots with feelings, as an automated street cleaner experiences an existential crisis on the streets of London.

It’s a kind of inverse “Wall-E”, and it’s been a labour of love for Charles and his multinational crew, including Squint/Opera’s comping whizzkid John Sellings. We’re looking forward to “Harvest”, Charles’ next short, in which a CG monster terrorizes a Yorkshire allotment.
