Conspiracy theories and cyborgs clash in Adam Jensen’s latest adventure.
The Deus Ex franchise has become renowned for its combination of dystopian settings, world-spanning conspiracy theories, computer hacking, and cruel and unusual ways of dispatching enemies. The latest in the series, Mankind Divided, renders technologically-augmented humans as X-Men style superpowered outcasts.
Like its predecessor Human Revolution, Mankind Divided features Adam Jensen as the playable character. And it takes that game’s black-and-gold colour scheme into Eidos Montreal's new Dawn Engine. Behind the scenes, the game's levels were planned out in 3ds Max, and the cinematic parts of the spectacular launch trailer were rendered in V-Ray.
