R&D at Chaos Group with V-Ray RT rendering directly to Oculus viewer


 


Earlier today Vladimir Koylazov, Chaos Group’s co-founder and CTO, posted a video of some early development in R&D. It is the ability to push the virtual frame buffer of a stereo cubemap from V-Ray RT directly into a viewport connected to an Oculus. In doing so, VR content creators would be able to use the Oculus to see the effects of their changes as they make them.
